How to Create an Effective Pose for Paneling and Illustration
Ron Lemen (Studio2ndStreet, Gnomon Workshop Group, TAD, Imagine FX, Kindle Comics) discusses and demonstrates the logistics of posing the figurative element with a purpose for narrative illustrators and sequential artists, from a historical perspective to the ever-elusive "camera lens" (pictorial frame) from which we view the moment. Ron will walk through a pictorial moment, breaking down the setting to action, POV to action, camera lens to action, drawing with an easy-to-use diagrammatical figure that every illustrator should have knowledge of as a technical tool for figure invention, staging, and blocking. Come ready to take notes and draw along.
